The second edition of The Cancer Handbook was published by John Wiley & Sons in June 2007. This two volume book, exceeding 1500 pages, has a number of contributions from ICMS staff, with Malcolm Alison being editor-in-chief and chapter contributions from Malcolm Alison and Sir Nicholas Wright (Stem cells and tumorigenesis), Ian Tomlinson (Genetic susceptibility to cancer), Ping Wang (Genetic models), and Michael Philpott , Daniele Bergamaschi and Alan Storey (Models for skin cancer).
