How to get help from the IHSE IT Support team
The IHSE has implemented a new Help Desk system designed to increase the efficiency and transparency of IT user support services.
Users can now place a support request here on the help desk web portal. Simply log in with your QMUL email address and the password "helpdesk".You can then create a new support request using the simple drop down options and text entry boxes. To track the progress of your request or to send a message to the IT support team simply return to the help desk web portal and view your requests by selecting the "History" tab.
You will also find a self help section containing FAQ's and answers addressing common issues facing Institute IT users. This section will be continuously developed and amended.
Users can also place a support request by sending an email to ihse-it-support@qmul.ac.uk
If you are unable to either use the web portal or send an email you can phone IHSE IT support on 13 2550 and speak to Saul Freeman.
