Annexin V Staining Protocol

1. Pellet cells, including any cells in supernatants from adherent cell cultures.

2. Resuspended in 400 ml of Becton Dickinson (BD) Annexin V Binding Buffer (Cat. No.556454).

3. Add 2 ml Annexin V-FITC (BD, Cat.No. 556420) or 2 ml Annexin V-AlexaFluor-647(Invitrogen Cat. No. A23204.

4. Incubate at RT for 15 mins

5. Add viability dye PI (5 mg/ml) or DAPI (200 ng/ml)

6. Collect 10-20,000 events.
