Education and Training
The Centre provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that aim to promote the knowledge and skills required by medical professionals seeking to improve the health of communities.
Educational programmes draw on the expertise of practitioners and academic teachers from a broad range of disciplines; general practice, psychiatry, epidemiology, public health, health care of the elderly, child health, sociology, psychology and medical ethics. For the PLAB courses teachers are drawn from specialties across the medical school and Bart and the Royal London NHS Trust.

These programmes are built around contemporary educational principles that ensure that the student is situated in a learning environment that consistently challenges, motivates and supports them, throughout their course of study.
