Sign up to a 9 month programme, completing in July 2009, and follow the 110 former students who have been helped to develop as managers and supervisors in primary care.
The course aims to provide a first level management qualification to participants who will normally have worked for at least one year at or above senior receptionist level in general practice, or have similar experience in another primary care setting. What are definitely required are commitment, enthusiasm and an ability to complete a course of study.

The course is accredited by Queen Mary, University of London. The course fees for 2008-09 are £1452 and £2178 for overseas students. A 50% subsidy is available for students working in primary care in the NHS London sector. That is, the fee for NHS London students for 2008-09 is £726. It is up to NHS London students to approach their employers for support with this £726. Overseas students* working in NHS London sector also receive the £726 subsidy, thus the fee they need to pay is £1452 for 2008-09.
Applications are invited for the September 2008 intake. Admission to this course is through application forms and informal interviews, which will be arranged in the summer 2008.
